Mesage From The North Command

Massage from the North Command:

I hope this message finds all of you well and enjoying some of these warm summer evenings that have finally arrived.

Over the past couple of weeks we have seen a slight increase in overall crime within your area. Nothing alarming, but something we need to pay attention too. We have deployed officers in a more targeted manner to deal with some of the issues. This strategy has yielded a number of arrest. We think that we have made a significant impact on some of the affected areas but we will continue to monitor.

You guys are doing a great job of calling when you see suspicious activity. Keep it up!!

On line Reporting- As you know from the Captains last e-mail, many “cold” reports will now be done online by the victim. Not the optimal, but the reality for now. So how is it going? Please provide feedback and let us know how it works and if we can make it better. Continue to report crimes in a timely manner. Please don’t not report something because you are frustrated. The information you provide is vital for us to continue our crime reduction efforts and provide service to your community.

Lastly, thank you for all your support through these difficult times. You are a wonderful community to serve and we are committed to providing the best possible service.

Sacramento is a great place to Live, Work and Play. With your help, we will keep it that way!
